Hand held spectrometer for rapid nutrient testing

Petiole testing is widely used to monitor crop nutrient status, but it can be labour intensive and take several days to return results. Research from Canada is investigating the use of handheld spectrometers and machine learning to provide rapid, in field nutrient measurements from potato leaves.
