Background to the WPC
The World Potato Congress Inc. is a non-profit organisation supported by a group of volunteer directors representing potato jurisdictions around the world. Congress events are hosted in partnership with local host committees. The World Potato Congress creates a network to share ideas and knowledge and to lead sustainable growth of potatoes to meet increased global consumption.
Australia is set to host the WPC in Adelaide from the 23-26 June 2024
The triennial 12th World Congress will be hosted by Potatoes Australia Ltd. Visit their website to learn more and keep updated. Potatoes Australia Ltd. is an industry body that represents all sectors of the potato industry – fresh, processing and seed, in all components of the value chain.
