Session Details
·Why nutrition matters
Discover how getting the right nutrients, in the right place, at the right rate and time can significantly improve yield, quality, crop health and input efficiency.
Start with the soil
Understand the value of soil testing — especially pH — as the foundation for any good nutrition program. Learn how to interpret soil test results and what it means for your paddock.
Nutrient essentials for potatoes
Get a clear, crop-specific overview of the key macro and micronutrients. We’ll cover how they function, interact, and impact growth.
Timing is everything
Learn how nutrient uptake varies through the growing season and how to align your program with variety needs, yield potential, and local conditions. Explore how to use in-season testing to fine-tune decisions.
Application strategies
Explore the best ways to apply nutrients, including fertigation, foliar and banding options. We'll discuss the importance of method, rate, soil type, and environment — plus introduce concepts like nutrient removal and budgeting.
This webinar is tailored for potato growers, agronomists, and farm advisors looking to strengthen their nutrition programs with practical insights and crop-specific strategies.
