Sophia is a recent graduate from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security.

Sophia has gained experience in research during her degree as a Research Volunteer for the United Nations World Food Programme Cambodia office, reporting on the impacts of COVID-19 on Food Security, Nutrition and Vulnerability.

Previously to completing her degree, Sophia has had a diverse range of experience working in marketing and communications for not-for-profits and hospitality organisations.

She is looking forward to combining her past work experience and knowledge gained during her degree to the graduate position at Applied Horticultural Research (AHR), where she is working mainly on two of AHR’s research, extension, and communication projects: Soil Wealth and Integrated Crop Protection (SWICP) and PotatoLink.
