Managing potatoes in wet conditions
It’s been a particularly challenging start to the season for potato growers in the southeast of Australia, with wet weather delaying plantings, flooding some areas, and raising concerns for the crops already in the ground.
A panel session with some of the PotatoLink team, Peter O’Brien, Peter Philp, Tim Walker and Nigel Crump, provided the attendees with an interactive session that included topics such as:

Weed control
Soil health
Storage rots
It was a good opportunity for growers to discuss issues with the panel and share concerns with other growers.
