Details: Join the PotatoLink team and keynote speakers, Josh Opas from McCain and Dr Nigel Crump from AuSPICA, for an in-person event at the Mount Gambier Golf Club.

The focus topics for the event are regenerative agriculture, biosecurity, and soil health.

Agenda:

  • PotatoLink’s National Coordinator Peter O’Brien will welcome the group and deliver an update on the project

  • Josh Opas from McCain will present on regenerative agriculture and sustainability, outlining its significance to the potato industry, growers, consumers and soil health

  • Dr Nigel Crump from AuSPICA will provide an update on Australia’s potato industry biosecurity, highlighting the importance of protecting the industry and potential biosecurity threats

  • Darren Alexander from Bayer CropScience will outline the role of soil microflora in building soil health

  • Bob Peake from Stoller Australia will continue the discussion on soil health, exploring the role of nutrition and plant physiology in soil health
