Join us for a field walk and discussion on ag tech in the potato industry. 

The agenda will include: 

  • Field demonstration of drone spraying and fertiliser application in potatoes - Grower Danny Omodei 

  • Grower panel discussion on using drones in potatoes 

  • Advanced vegetable mechanisation to maximise labour and cost efficiency (VG23003) project update - Julie O’Halloran (QDPI)

  • Using the Open Weed Locator open-source software for spot spraying - grower Jake Ryan Refreshment

  • Trade display featuring:

    • WA Potatoes: Smart Spud impact sensor technology.

    • Coldahold: Tolsma Grisnich cool storage technology.

    • Farmlink Rural: MAIT Irrigation monitoring and management systems.

Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the event.
